Mr. Omer Baig
Managing Director / CEO
Mr. Omer Baig is one of the main sponsoring directors of Tariq Glass Industries Limited (a public limited company). After graduating in the business studies from USA, he joined Omer Glass Industries Limited. On attaining sufficient expertise in the glass field, he was entrusted the full responsibility of handling that unit under the guidance of Mr. Tariq Baig the Chairman and the Managing Director of Tariq Glass Industries Limited.
With the transfer of tableware facilities of Omroc from Peshawar to Sheikhupura, Omer Glass Industries Limited converted its production from tableware to Opal glass during Mr. Omer Baig’s tenure.
Although, the manufacturing of Opal glass was a challenging task as it was a new field and very few countries of the world were producing this type of glass at that time, the unit successfully managed to achieve expertise in Opal glassware production. The production of which was comparable to international standards.

Mr. Mansoor Irfani
Chairman
Mr. Mansoor Irfani did his schooling from Central Model School, Lahore and graduated from Gordon College Rawalpindi. He joined the Pakistan Army in 1966, during which time he held a number of staff, instructional and command appointments. He is also a graduate of the Command & Staff College, Quetta where he also served as Directing Staff. In addition he was awarded MSc (War Studies) degree by Islamabad University. He retired from the Army with a rank of Lt. Colonel. Since 1974, he has been a Director with Tariq Glass Industries Limited and is one of the pioneers who have contributed in the revival of the unit and made it a profitable venture.
Mr. Mohammad Baig
Director
Mr. Mohammad Baig is a graduate from Imperial College, UK with a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering. He has received distinctions in Pharmaceutical Process Development, Membranes and Membrane Sciences as well as Biochemical Engineering. In addition, he also has experience in Financial and Strategic Management. He is an accredited Chartered Engineer by the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE), with an in depth understanding of the Hazard & Operability (HAZOP) process.
Mr. Adnan Aftab
Director
Mr. Adnan Aftab is a seasoned executive and manufacturing luminary with over three decades of diverse industry experience. Known for driving innovation and transformative initiatives, he is a dynamic and influential figure. Currently serving as the CEO and Director at Select Technologies (Private) Limited, a subsidiary of Airlink Communication Limited, Adnan is the driving force behind the company's rapid growth. His leadership roles in distinguished organizations highlight his adaptability and brilliance across different landscapes.
Adnan's manufacturing journey began at Dawlance Private Limited, where he gained valuable experience overseeing multiple facilities and optimizing production processes. His 16-year tenure saw him rise from Trainee Engineer to Vice President Factories, showcasing his mastery of complex operations. He later revitalized Pak Elektron Limited as the General Manager Factories, driving innovation and product diversification for a remarkable turnaround.
Adnan holds a Master of Science in Manufacturing Engineering (MSME) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from N.E.D University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi, Pakistan. He has participated in executive education programs at Harvard Business School, focusing on entrepreneurship and leadership. Adnan's commitment to continuous improvement is evident through his involvement in professional training initiatives.

His pursuit of excellence, coupled with his deep understanding of manufacturing engineering, continues to drive his success and inspire those fortunate to work alongside him.
Ms. Rubina Nayyar
Director
Ms. Rubina Nayyar holds master’s degree in Business Education from the University of the Punjab. She is well versant with the labor laws and her core competencies and strengths include Compliance with Labor Laws.
With over 35 years of experience in the field of Human Resource Management, she started her career as a consultant by delivering lectures and interactive training sessions for labor and time management courses.
She is also associated with many prestigious educational institutions of Pakistan, as visiting faculty and examiner, and has supervised university students in applied research projects leading towards their master degrees.
She worked with various multinational FMCG companies before joining Tariq Glass Industries’ Human resource and Administration Department.
During her time with Tariq Glass Industries Limited, she has played a pivotal role in both training as well as the professional development of the Company’s staff.
Mr. Faiz Muhammad
Director
Mr. Faiz Muhammad was appointed as an Independent Director on the Board of Tariq Glass Industries Limited on March 20, 2018. Mr. Faiz Muhammad has done his post-graduation in the year 1991 with majors in Marketing. Mr. Faiz Muhammad has extensive experience in business management, marketing, finance, corporate strategies, commercial insights and project management. He started his career with family owned business of import & export of dry fruits and hotels. He also held key positions in Sarhad Chamber Of Commerce & Industries, Pak-Afghan Joint Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization (PEDO), Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Oil & Gas Company Limited (KPOGCL), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Board of Investment and Trade (KP-BOIT), Small Industries Development Board (SIDB). Nowadays, he is an elected president of Sarhad Chamber Of Commerce & Industries. On number of occasions the Government of KPK has awarded him for his meritorious contribution to national interests. Mr. Faiz Muhammad’s philanthropic and social engagements include the foundation member of the Khyber Eye Foundation Hospital and Peshawar Khyber Lions Club.
Mr. Saad Iqbal
Director
Mr. Saad Iqbal has completed his graduation from Curry College, Boston, Massachusetts, USA. He also holds a post graduate diploma in International Business from Kingston University, London. Furthermore he is also a certified Director from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan.
Mr. Iqbal is on the Board of various companies in the power sector, which include being the Director of Metro Power Company Limited, Metro Wind Power Limited and Chief Executive Officer of Metro Solar Power Limited.
He is also Director on the Board of Millat Tractors Limited & Kot Addu Power Company Limited. Mr. Iqbal’s affiliations are extensive, such as he is the Chief Executive Officer of Swift Textile Mills (Pvt.) Ltd. and Director at Gul Ahmed CBMC Glass Company Limited.
